What each brand says its smartphones warranty covers and excludes
Taken from each brand’s own India warranty terms; the wording differs, so read the brand page before assuming coverage.

- Samsung: Manufacturing defects on the device, repaired at a Samsung authorised service centre; valid invoice required. In-box chargers, handsfree and data cables carry a shorter period than the handset.
- Sony: Manufacturing defects during the period shown as "Valid Up to" on the product information page. Non-transferable (first end user), purchase from a Sony authorised dealer; warranty card and original invoice must be presented together. Void for products bought as "seconds" resale.
- Xiaomi: Manufacturing defects on the main device, covering labour and parts. Battery, adapter and other packaged accessories carry a shorter period than the device.
- vivo: Handset defects, with a valid proof of purchase. A functional error within 30 days of purchase can be handled by replacement or repair on top of the one-year warranty. Removable battery, charger, data cable, earphones and SD card carry a shorter period.

- Google Pixel: Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from the original retail purchase, for consumers who bought in India. Google repairs the device or replaces it at its discretion; statutory rights are not reduced.
